BUSINESS LICENCE APPLICATION
ASSESSMENT APPEAL FORM
To Obtain a Development Permit, an applicant shall first file a written Development Application on the form prescribed by Council and shall be accompanied by the following information:
a) A scaled site plan in duplicate showing the treatment of landscaped areas required, the legal description, the front, rear, and side yards, provisions for off street loading and vehicle parking and access and egress points to the parcel. The site plan must include setback distances from the proposed development to the boundaries of the property.
b) Scaled floor plans, elevations and sections in duplicate.
c) A statement of existing and proposed uses.
d) A copy of the Certificate of Title to the land and, if the applicant is not the owner, a statement of the applicant’s interest in the land together with the written consent of the owner to the application.
e) The estimated commencement and completion dates
f) The estimated cost of the project or contract price and
g) such other plans and information as the Development Officer/Municipal Planning Commission may consider necessary to properly evaluate the proposed development.
A Permit issued does not come into effect until 14 days after the date on which the Notice of Decision is issued, and the Notice of Decision will be conspicuously posted on the applicable property and the adjoining landowners will be notified by the Village.
